One of the most common questions I get is–what about the tablet? As you can see from this mockup that someone made by jerking off into Photoshop, it would be a pretty cool product.
The truth is, we are working on it. But there’s a holdup–we just can’t get the new version of Appleworks right. the Macbook Touch is $499 for educational markets, and we want a full office suite that’s usable with multitouch.
We couldn’t get a new version of Appleworks right. Have you ever placed clip art with two fingers? One slip and you’re facing a hot dog coming out of a champagne bottle. That’s not the type of New Year’s party I would go to.
So now, we’re going to unveil a new service called “Mobile Me Documents”. I voted for “Apple Works Me” but it didn’t gain traction. Basically, think of Google Docs but the interface has a shitload more gradients.
Save button? Fuck yeah! Gradient.
Bold button? Shit my pants yes! Glossified.
Italics? Screw your mom in the corncob YES! It’s like the button is made of gradients, glass, and pussy.
